What can I expect?

We are thrilled that you’ll be able to join us for our celebration. Our main priority for the weekend is to have fun and to create memories together. It’s not often we all get to be together - especially away - we want to make sure that everyone is comfortable and living their best lives.

Why Dominica?

We are committed to supporting the local community. Jungle Bay is owned by a local owner who is committed to mentoring local entrepreneurs and the majority of items we’ve sourced have been through local vendors. Additionally a portion of Jungle Bay’s proceeds are donated to support local charities in Dominica.

Any travel advice?

Book early - hotel and and flights. Especially large families and those with mobility issues so that you can get your preferred villa.

We recommend flying American Airlines as other airlines use propeller jets.

We strongly advise against renting a car as the island’s roads are extremely windy and steep. Roundtrip transport to the airport and to activities will be provided for those guests staying at Jungle Bay. For those staying at alternative hotels, transport to wedding activities will be provided.

What should I bring?

Your passport! In the case that your passport is up for renewal or that you need to request a new passport, we highly encourage processing well in advance as there have been processing delays recently.

The weather in the Nature Island is comparable to other Caribbean and tropical islands. Temperatures can be chilly at night and it will likely rain from time to time so we recommend packing layers and rain gear.

Your walking shoes! The resort is hilly and walkable. There will be golf carts for those who face mobility challenges, however there is likely to be a wait time.

We also recommend packing sunscreen, bug spray, and any other items that would make you feel comfortable in a tropical beach environment.

There’s no need to bring adaptors if you’re staying at Jungle Bay as the rooms are equipped with American plugs.

Can I bring children?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it as we will have a variety of planned activities available. There will also be babysitting services available onsite.
